I love this bird feeder and the app that goes along with it. The app is very good at identifying the different birds. I also love the accessories. I put the humming bird feeder out, but the birds haven't found it yet. I have another brand of smart feeder and the Birdfy camera stays charged much longer between charges. I bought one at the beginning of winter and it stayed charged for months without needing a recharge. Now that there is more action in the springtime, I assume it might need charged a little more often. This set came with the solar charger, so that should eliminate the need to bring it in for charging. The only negative I have found so far is that the camera doesn't seem to be able to be removed for charging. I have to bring the whole feeder in.

Best addition to my backyard viewing collection!

I got this as a Christmas gift for myself on Black Friday. I would not have gotten it at regular price as I think it's a lot for what it is. But the Black Friday price was very good. Since I have set it up at Christmas, it has been working great. It took a couple hours to charge up via a USB C cord and has been running ever since, without having to bring in to recharge, thanks to the solar panel.It comes with various ways to mount it and I mounted mine on a pole. Once the birds figured out the food was there, I get nothing but birds all day long. And the occasional squirrel. It has a squirrel-guard but mine leaps from the railing and over to the feeder directly. For my usage, I had to have it stop notifying me on my phone that there was activity because I get so many birds and it would go off all day. I open the app from time to time to see all the recordings. The recordings can be downloaded from the app to the phone via the app. The videos are 20sec long and they seem to be stored 24hrs (without a subscription) before they are automatically deleted. They are very clear as well.I would definitely recommend the Pro but I would say wait until they run a sale.

Amazing customer service! After buying multiple of these feeders, I had one that did not connect very well. When the company found out I was dissatisfied, they gave me options of a refund or a replacement. We really liked the product, so we got a replacement in the mail,Quickly. Hard to find a Company that will Stand By their product.They ensure customer is satisfied. We'll continue to buy these for gifts for other friends and family.
